MTS PD Day

MTS PD Day 2025
ManACE Sessions

Join us at St. Paul's High School in Winnipeg for an exciting MTS PD Day hosted by ManACE, where educators come together to explore the latest in coding, robotics, technology integration, digital literacy, and media literacy. Designed with rural and urban educators in mind, this event offers hands-on sessions, insights, and collaborative discussions to empower teachers in shaping the future of digital learning. Whether you're a beginner or a tech-savvy educator, discover innovative strategies to enhance student engagement and digital fluency in your classroom. Let's connect, create, and inspire! Our keynote speaker will be announced closer to the event, and our event registration will also include a hot lunch served at the school.

MTS Professional Development Day

ManACE hosts yearly sessions for MTS PD Day.

Presenters for a full day session receive an honorarium of $250.00. Incidental costs such as snacks are funded at $5.00 per participant. Presenters are in charge of arranging the location of their session. As sessions are of a hands-on practical nature, it is beneficial to host the session in your own location.

SAGE (Special Area Groups of Educators):
The Special Area Groups of Educators affiliated with The Manitoba Teachers’ Society are organizations of educators in specific fields. They offer professional development, camaraderie and a forum to share ideas and insights. Special Area Group conferences and workshops present the best ideas from the brightest minds in teaching.

Request for satellite service from Special Area Groups of Educators (This request for service is the first step in approaching a SAGE from a local association or school for learning opportunities throughout the year or on the October SAGE Coordinated Conference Day.)

SAGEs do much more than sponsor the extensive professional development conferences. They reinforce personal professional development activities by helping develop on-going skills in a friendly, non-competitive environment.
